This method of low-and-slow barbecue was started by the first American indigenous tribe who had developed this unique method for cooking meat by using wood smoke as an indirect heat source. From the Atlantic to the Gulf, bordered by the western outposts of Texas and Kansas City, the area of the United States known as the “barbecue belt” houses four distinct barbecue traditions, Carolina, Texas, Memphis and Kansas City. The belt has caused many to make culinary pilgrimage to the region to taste the authentic American barbecue.

Apart from the meaty BBQ dishes, Betty Lou also offers a wide-range of southern-style comfort food such as the Southern Style Fried Chicken and Creamy Crawfish Spaghetti.
